Property Information:
Property is located west/northwest of Loma Alta between Sonora and Del
Rio. It is a private, end of the road ranch off US Hwy 277. This property has been
completely high fenced, cross high fenced, and has four high fenced breeder
pens. Two large draws run through the ranch. Topography is very scenic and
ranges from rolling hills to rough draws. There are Indian artifacts throughout the
ranch. Trees include pin oak, cedar, and mesquite. Grasses include Indian
grass, blue stem, side oats, grama, fall witch grass, wild rye, sprangletop, and
buffalo. The ranch has not been stocked with livestock for over 5 years. There
are three water wells. One is equipped with a windmill and has a 10,000 gallon
concrete reservoir. One has a windmill and electric submersible pump. The well
at the headquarters has a submersible pump, pressure tank, booster pump, and
3000 gallon storage tank. There are 14 water troughs, at least four dams and
small springs. The property has 2 mobile homes completely furnished. One is
16x76, 3/2, the other is 14x56, 2/1. There are exotics including aoudad, axis, red
deer, and elk. Native game includes whitetail, turkey, dove, quail, and javelina.
The ranch has not been hunted in 3 years.
