This property for sale is located in the Kentucky Lakes Development, a subdivision tucked in against Kentucky Lakes just above the Tennessee border near Murray Kentucky. It is in the southwest corner of Kentucky and in the southeast corner of Calloway County. Kentucky Lake, The Tennessee River, was created in 1944 by the Kentucky Dam. It is 184 miles in length and has 2,064 miles of shoreline. There is a boat launch into this lake on the east side of this subdivision as seen in the photos below!
The property for sale is three adjoining lots and I am estimating they make up about 4/10 of an acre. These properties sit six lots off of the paved road seen in the photos. There is power at a neighbor that is on this road. It is very difficult to read the dimensions on the Parcel Map provided. We have been unable to obtain better maps and you will need to research the exact sizes further at the county. I used a magnifying glass and am guessing that the approximate dimensions are: Lot 157: 50 x 100 x 85, Lot 158: 50 X 100 x 85 x 150, Lot 159: 50 x 100 x 70 totalling about 0.40 Acres. You need to verify this information at the county.
This property allows for homes, manufactured homes or camping with an RV or tent. We did speak to the county and they are very willing to assist property owners in developing their properties and two lots is sufficient for development. I see they think outside the box and gave us information about using holding tanks so be sure and talk to them if you decide to build.
These lots are located towards the west part of the subdivision as seen in the Street Map. All of the photos were taken at these properties and along the paved road as seen in the parcel map link above. We walked part way down the overgrown road. The area is fairly flat with tall trees that thickly cover the area as seen in the beautiful photos below. We viewed it in the fall and caught a spectacular show of color! There was a bit of scattered underbrush. I thought this part of the subdivision was very private and quiet. We did find a neighbor nearby around lot 665 as seen in the photos below.
These lots would be terrific for a fisherman seeking a place to build a getaway, pull in their RV or build a cabin to enjoy while they fish!
