Rio Rancho is a suburb of Albuquerque about 15 miles to the northwest as the crow flies. It is the fastest growing city in New Mexico. This 0.5 acre parcel is located in Unit 6 of Rio Rancho Estates on 35th Street NW, four blocks to the east off of Encino Blvd, a main road through this part of the subdivision. These roads can be seen in the Street Map link above. We have not had a chance to visit this property yet.
Most of the photos below were taken in November 2006 three blocks to the southeast of this property in unit 6 block 28. We have noted above in the parcel map link and subdivision map links where the pictures were taken in relationship to this property. So the pictures should be an excellent representation of the land. I have made a note on a picture below that I believe shows this area as well.
There are great views of the Sandia Mountains from the northeast to the southeast. They are very beautiful when they are snowcapped! We included a few pictures below of them when they have just a bit of snow on them and they sure do come to life! It is a very beautiful view of this long range from this property! There are cool hills to the south.
You can see the city to the southeast in the far distance! The section map link above also shows where some of these new housing areas are to the northeast, east and southeast of the unit. This is only a few miles away and you can see some of the homes in the photos!
This area has scattered cactus, trees and grass - a very pretty native setting! The aerial photos as well as a few of the other maps show that are two intermittent streams (arroyos) that run to the south and north of this property. It does look like this property is on the high side of these gentle rolling hills though and the arroyos are a ways from the property still.

We have been seeing quite a few of our Rio Rancho lots being sold these past few months. The price is down on them from the boom a few years back and several people are now investing in this city! I think it is a great time to invest in Rio Rancho and we continue to seek properties in this area for our investors!
