FAQ's: PLACING A BUYER'S LISTING ON EAGLESTAR.NET
Find the real estate you are looking for with free Eaglestar.net Buyer's Ads.
Brokers, agents, and salespersons: Read the list of Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQ's) below to find out how Eaglestar.net Buyer's Listings can help you.
Q: What is an Eaglestar.net Buyer's Listing?
A: A Buyer's Listing is essentially a want-ad for those seeking to purchase
real estate. This ad will appear in the Buyer's List on Eaglestar.net.
Q: Is there a charge to place an Eaglestar.net Buyer's Ad?
A: No. Placing a Buyer's Listing is absolutely free. You may place as many
ads as you like, with the understanding that they are intended for serious
inquiries only.
Q: Why should I place a Buyer's Listing on Eaglestar.net?
A: The point of placing a Buyer's Ad is to notify prospective property sellers
about the type of property you are seeking. Eaglestar.net clients with
properties that match your Buyer's Ad will have access to your contact
information.
Q: Is there a limit on the number of Buyer's Ads I can place?
A: No. You may place as many listings as you wish. When placing your Buyer's
Ad(s), please remember that the Land Buyer's List is intended for serious,
good-faith "Property Wanted" listings only. All listings are subject to
approval by American EagleStar; only relevant and appropriate listings will be
accepted.
Q: What are the advantages of placing a free Buyer's Listing (Buyer's Ad) on
Eaglestar.net?
A: Buyer's Listings offer a unique way for those seeking real estate to
identify and locate properties that match their specific criteria. We have
learned that placing a "Property Wanted" ad can sometimes aid in locating
properties at bargain prices. In addition, some of our customers who have
placed a Buyer's Listing have been contacted by sellers about properties that
have previously not been for sale, or that have not been offered on the open
market for an extended period of time.
In addition, you will receive access to a continually updated Private List of
Properties for Sale, including seller contact information that is not available
to the general internet public. In order to place a listing, you will need to
create an Eaglestar.net User Account if you have not already done so.
Q: Who should place Buyer's Listings on Eaglestar.net?
A: Anyone seriously seeking to purchase land or property. Placing "Property
Wanted" ads on the Land Buyer's List affords real estate professionals an
additional way to meet the needs of their customers by attracting sellers with
properties matching the buyer's wants and needs. Those with qualifying
properties can then contact the broker or sales professional directly.
Q: Will I have access to contact information for listings in the Eaglestar.net
Land Buyer's List if I place a Buyer's Listing?
A: No. Only clients with a paid Seller's Listing on Eaglestar.net have access
to that information. You will, however, be able to view the seller contact
information from the listings in the Private List of Properties for Sale.
Q: What information should I include in my Eaglestar.net Buyer's Listing?
A: You may be as specific or as general as you wish. At a minimum, the
Buyer's Listing should contain the desired location, price range, and size
(number of acres). You may get a better (and more targeted) response if you
include additional information such as the type of property you are seeking
(farm, hunting, ranch, fishing, investment, etc.). It is also helpful to
describe the amenities you want (sewer, electric, water features, paved roads,
wildlife, privacy and seclusion, etc.).
Q: What is required to create a User Account on Eaglestar.net?
A: Your name, a valid email address and telephone number, and a username and
password chosen by you.
Q: Who has access to the contact information from my Buyer's Listing?
A: Your contact information is available only to paid advertisers (Sellers'
Listings) on Eaglestar.net. Your name and telephone number will be displayed
so that sellers may contact you with properties matching your criteria.
Sellers may also email you, but cannot see your email address unless you
respond to a seller's inquiry.
We will not sell or share your contact information with third parties.
Eaglestar.net does not approve of or engage in spamming practices. Please note
that creating and activating an Eaglestar.net user account will automatically
add your email address to the subscription list for this newsletter. If you
wish not to receive the newsletter, simply click on the Unsubscribe link at the
bottom of the newsletter (or paste link into your browser and hit the 'Return'
or 'Enter' key) and you will be automatically removed from the newsletter
mailing list.

Step 5. Validation and posting of your ad in the Buyer's
List(http://www.eaglestar.net/Land_Buyers_List/index.html) may take up to 24
hours. Once your account is validated, you will be able to view seller contact
information in the Private List category.
Q: What effect does the current state of the economy have on the real estate
market?
A: There is no quick and easy answer to this question. The real estate market
is in what is termed a "correction" - a time when soaring real estate values
deflate a bit - or a lot, depending on where the property is located. This is
not especially good news for homeowners, but sometimes market corrections can
have a silver lining - for one thing, a correction can allow a market to
recover from overvaluation and help keep overall inflation in check. Urban
real estate markets are still undergoing this process, but the correction has
not been as large or as pronounced in rural real estate markets, and many are
showing signs of recovery.
In fact, it is our opinion that rural and recreational real estate prices are
as low right now as they will ever be again, and will soon begin rising once
more. We base this opinion on our observations of economic trends. For
example, grain futures have been on the rise for some time as demand for corn,
soy, canola, and other farm products grows. This brings about increases in
demand for farming and agricultural land. Another trend we have been observing
is the steady flow of baby-boomers who are at or approaching retirement age, a
large proportion of whom prefer to dispose of urban real estate in favor of
rural or recreational acreage for retirement. We at Eaglestar.net believe
these and other factors indicate that this may be an optimum time for many
buyers or investors to purchase rural real estate, horse properties, farms or
hobby farms, ranches, and other types of rural or recreational properties.
Placing Buyer's Listings on Eaglestar.net can help you locate the types of
properties for which you are looking and to make your voice heard above the din
of the crowd.
