USING EAGLESTAR.NET BUYER'S LISTINGS TO FIND THE PROPERTY YOU WANT
Buyer's listings are a unique service offered by EagleStar.net, designed to
help prospective purchasers of real estate to locate properties in which they
are interested. Placing Buyer's Listings on Eaglestar.net can help you locate
the types of properties for which you are looking and to make your voice heard
above the din of the crowd.
Q: What is an Eaglestar.net Buyer's Listing?
A: A Buyer's Listing is essentially a want-ad for those seeking to purchase
real estate. This ad will appear in the Buyer's List on Eaglestar.net at
http://www.eaglestar.net/Land_Buyers_List/index.html
Q: Is there any charge to place an Eaglestar.net Buyer's Ad?
A: No. Placing a Buyer's Listing is absolutely free. You may place as many ads
as you like, with the understanding that they are intended for serious
inquiries only.
Q: Why should I place a Buyer's Listing on Eaglestar.net?
A: The point of placing a Buyer's Ad is to notify prospective property sellers
about the type of property you are seeking. Eaglestar.net clients with
properties that match your Buyer's Ad will have access to your contact
information. Once you have placed a Buyer's Listing, you will also have access
to individual contact information for hundreds of seller's listings that is not
available to the general public.
Q: Will the general internet public be able to see my contact information?
A: No. We keep this information private to protect our customers and site
users. Only sellers of property that have paid listings on EagleStar.net can
see buyers' contact information. They should contact a buyer only if they have
a property that matches the criteria specified in the Buyer's Listing.
Q: Is there a limit on the number of Buyer's Ads I can place?
A: No. You may place as many listings as you wish. When placing your Buyer's
Ad(s), please remember that the Land Buyer's List is intended for serious,
good-faith "Property Wanted" listings only. All listings are subject to
approval by American EagleStar; only relevant and appropriate listings will be
accepted.
Q: What are the advantages of placing a free Buyer's Listing (Buyer's Ad) on
Eaglestar.net?
A: Those who place a Buyer's Listing will have access to the contact
information in our Private List
(http://www.eaglestar.net/Properties/Private_List/index.html). The Private List
is a collection of thousands of free property listings that have been placed on
EagleStar.net. Only those with a Buyer's Listing can see the seller contact
information in these ads.
In addition, Buyer's Listings offer a unique way for those seeking real estate
to identify and locate properties that match their specific criteria. We have
learned that placing a Buyer's Listing can sometimes aid in locating properties
at bargain prices. In addition, some of our customers who have placed a Buyer's
Listing have been contacted by sellers about properties that have previously
not been for sale, or that have not been offered on the open market for an
extended period of time.
Q: Who should place Buyer's Listings on Eaglestar.net?
A: Anyone seriously seeking to purchase land or property. Placing Buyer's
Listings on the Land Buyers List affords real estate professionals an
additional way to meet the needs of their customers by attracting sellers with
properties matching the buyer's wants and needs. Those with qualifying
properties can then contact the broker or sales professional directly.
Q: Will I have access to contact information for other Buyer's Listings in the
Eaglestar.net Land Buyer's List after I place a Buyer's Listing?
A: No. Only clients with a paid Seller's Listing on Eaglestar.net have access
to that information. You will, however, be able to view the seller contact
information from the listings in the Private List of Properties for Sale.
Q: What information should I include in my Eaglestar.net Buyer's Listing?
A: You may be as specific or as general as you wish. At a minimum, the Buyer's
Listing should contain the desired location, price range, and size (number of
acres). You may get a better (and more targeted) response if you include
additional information such as the type of property you are seeking (farm,
hunting, ranch, fishing, investment, etc.). It is also helpful to describe the
amenities you want (sewer, electric, off-grid, log home, water features, paved
roads, wildlife, privacy and seclusion, etc.).
Q: What is required to create a User Account on Eaglestar.net?
A: Your name, a valid email address and telephone number, and a username and
password chosen by you.
Q: Who has access to the contact information from my Buyer's Listing?
A: Your contact information is available only to paid advertisers (Sellers'
Listings) on Eaglestar.net. Your name and telephone number will be displayed so
that sellers may contact you with properties matching your criteria. Sellers
may also email you, but cannot see your email address unless you respond to a
seller's inquiry.
We will not sell or share your contact information with third parties.
Eaglestar.net does not approve of or engage in spamming practices. Please note

hours. Once your account is validated, you will be able to view seller contact
information in the Private List category.

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Dear Editor:
Thank you for doing the newsletter. Although we just found and purchased our 40
acres, I can't begin to tell you how many times we experienced those 5
mistakes! (Editor's note: Vol. 2, Iss. 3). Even now we purchased land that had
been logged (we didn't want it logged) only has corner post markers (we really
had to push to get even this!) didn't even know the boundaries the first time
we looked at it (therefore spent endless months searching other places), and
finally bought the property at too high a price. After the survey was completed
(when they had our money) we found that it did not contain a creek on one
boundary and contained none of the pond which the sellers said that 1/3 was
ours. Bum deal. I just wish they had followed the steps from your newsletter. I
like honest.
