Rio Rancho is a suburb of Albuquerque about 15 miles to the northwest as the crow flies. It is the fastest growing city in New Mexico and this lot is located in one of the more developed units close to the new City Center! The section map link above shows where the pictures were taken, where the property is, where the city limits are and also where the new City Center is. This property is in the city limits only one unit to the west of where the new city center is in Unit 21! The thick black line on this map just to the west of the property is the current city limits. If you're looking to do some investing in Rio Rancho this map is so helpful and you might want to save it into your favorites. It shows the layout of all the different units which is helpful when trying to figure out which units are closer to the growth than others.
All of the photos below were taken in May 2009 of the actual property and the surrounding views, including development of housing very close by! We purchased these lots at a fabulous price and originally listed them with a realtor for $18,900 and that listing expired. We have drastically reduced the price to get them sold and are passing our great buy along to you! If you have been looking for an investment in the growth area of Rio Rancho I suggest you really take some time and do your homework on these! You can see in the photos as well as the maps that there is growth already in this area - looks like only two blocks to the south! You can also see there is a power easement running along the north side of the property for the power poles seen in the photos. However I took the photos on the north side of the power lines and this property sits to the south. So the power lines WILL NOT obstruct your view of the Sandia Mountains which loom very large from the east to the southeast!
