We are a second generation family alfalfa & cattle operation
located 50 miles north of Taos, New Mexico in the Colorado's San
Luis Valley. In order to keep the rest of the land in our family
for the next generation, we have decided to sell a few 35 acre
parcels of land suitable for vacation or retirement homes to
people we would like to have for neighbors.
Some parcels are on paved state highways that has been named a
scenic byway, power lines to all parcels, and domestic water
available. Our family struggles to maintain an operation that is
sustainable and uses few or no herbicides or pesticides. We
believe it is our responsibility to leave the land as good or
better than we found it. We do not want to sell to people who
have not met the family and seen the land we are offering. A trip
to Colorado will therefore be necessary. Since we are only an
hours drive from 3 major ski areas and in the middle of all the
other attractions that draw thousands to Colorado & Northern New
Mexico every year, we would suggest a combination vacation and
visit to our place.
