The most abundant commercial species include Cedro Macho (Carapa guianensis), Santa Maria (Callophyllum Brasiliensis), Guayabo Negro (Teriminala amazonia) and Comenegro (Dialium guianense).
The highly favorable conditions on the Prinzapolka Ranch - climate, drainage, soil fertility, relief and geomorphology - indicate 7,400 hectares could be dedicated to farming / ranching. Close to 14,000 hectares should be dedicated to sustained and selective forestry production, reserving the remaining lands for forest to protect soils and water.
