Although the gate to this property is on a two lane State Highway it is not easily accessible. The farmhouse lies 1 mile from the front gate on this (roughly) ˝ mile by 1 3/8 mile shaped property.

The ridge line road approaching the pastures and farmhouse conceals a substantial aquifer which feeds many of the springs in the area. Part of the property boundary is a 5/8 mile stretch of Ottery Creek which is almost totally supplied by 9 miles of springs and flows year round.

This creek property also includes the Ottery Creek Shut-ins and swimming hole, quite possibly the largest privately owned water feature of its kind in Missouri.

The pasture hay growth is substantial, usually over 100 large round bales per cutting. Fencing is partial and a few day’s work away from encompassing at least 60 acres.

I will consider the sale of the entire 367 acres or a 100-130 acre piece of it which has 20 acre south -facing sloped pasture and a good wet-weather creek.
